Boba Cafe Simulator v1.040–1.046 Update
July 28–30, 2026 — the newest post-launch patch wave after v1.036–1.038, with fishing depth, Yogurt Machine, delivery fixes, and co-op polish.
Caikemi shipped versions 1.040 through 1.046 across July 28–30, 2026, forming the newest post-launch patch wave after the v1.036–1.038 launch fixes. Where that earlier bundle tackled oranges, Esc resets, and sealing, this trio of builds goes deeper into night quests, delivery persistence, fishing and farm loops, museum presentation, Best Seller pricing, and multiplayer sync — the systems managers lean on once the first weekend rush settles.
Read this page when a Sewer Night Pass quest will not advance, delivery bags vanish after reload, or your topping tray counts disagree between host and clients. For the full timeline, see Patch Notes and the Updates hub.
v1.040 — July 28, 2026: quests, delivery, and economy
Version 1.040 is a stability pass aimed at blockers that survived launch week. Several fixes touch content you only see after hours or in specialized layouts, so they are easy to miss until they brick a day.
Night mode and shop flow
The Sewer Night Pass quest stuck state is resolved — if you were soft-locked underground after picking up the pass, updating should let the quest chain resume. Pair this with Night Mode if you are planning a dedicated after-hours route.
Night Recipes sometimes failing to purchase is also fixed. Before the patch, rare shop transactions could silently fail when buying restricted night-menu ingredients; after updating, confirm your cart completes and stock appears in storage before you close the shop UI.
Shelves, liquids, and icons
Wall shelf items became unselectable after selling the shelf — a frustrating bug for minimalist layouts. Selling furniture should no longer leave ghost interactables floating in mid-air.
Liquid capacity text not updating in real time when filling is corrected. When you pour milk, tea base, or syrup, the on-screen volume should track immediately instead of lagging until you pick up another tool.
Yogurt and Milk shared the same icon, which made prep mistakes during busy rushes. Icons are now distinct so you can spot the wrong ingredient at a glance.
Pricing, discounts, and museum
Best Seller drinks missing the intended 20% price bonus is fixed. If you flagged a drink as Best Seller and wondered why margins looked flat, re-check prices in Menu and Pricing after updating — the bonus should apply again.
Shadow friendship discount not applied correctly is also addressed. NPC relationship perks that shave material or drink costs should register at checkout and in prep cost previews.
Wrong liquid colors in the museum are corrected. Display tanks and sample cups should match the actual recipe tint, which matters when you are curating a showcase in Museum tours.
Multiplayer and delivery
Multiplayer topping tray quantity desync between host and clients is fixed. In Co-op, portion counts on shared trays should now match what each player sees.
Delivery received several reload-sensitive fixes:
- Delivery order stuck on “In Delivery” after reload — only the bag remained while the job never cleared
- Delivery bag models wrong when joining multiplayer
- Delivery bags on the checkout counter disappeared the next day
If delivery is part of your daily loop, skim How to Deliver and run one test order after patching before you stack multiple bags on the counter.
Receipts overlapping after load is also cleaned up so reprinted tickets do not stack on top of each other visually.
v1.045 — July 29, 2026: fishing, yogurt, and quality of life
Version 1.045 adds visible progression to farm-adjacent systems and bundles a wide quality-of-life pass Caikemi summarized as smoother cup sealing, item loading, shop unlocks, customer orders, discounts, and environmental placement.
Roasted Milk Tea clarity
Roasted Milk Tea now has a dedicated icon and prep instructions, so it no longer masquerades as a generic milk tea variant in the Recipes app. Menu builders can slot it into seasonal rotations with confidence; see Seasonal Drinks for how roasted profiles pair with autumn and winter menus.
Fishing expansion groundwork
Fishing animations and an on-screen fish information display make the hobby loop easier to read. You can see species details without guessing from silhouette alone. Full route planning lives in Farming and Fishing.
Yogurt Machine and farm tools
The Yogurt Machine is now purchasable from Su Kele, opening a new prep line for yogurt-based drinks and toppings. Budget for it in Equipment planning alongside your sealer and grinder upgrades.
Hoes can be placed in the environment, letting you stage farm tools where you actually work instead of only keeping them in inventory.
Wang Shoucai recipe generation improved — NPC-driven recipe offers should feel less repetitive and better aligned with your current menu tier.
Multiplayer and daily polish
Late-joining players can pick up fruit in multiplayer sessions, fixing a common co-op frustration when a friend arrives mid-harvest.
The broader QoL bundle touches cup sealing, item loading, shop unlocks, customer orders, discounts, and environmental objects. Expect fewer micro-friction clicks during rush hour even if you do not notice each change individually.
v1.046 — July 30, 2026: ocean fish and NPC accuracy
Version 1.046 is a content-and-accuracy drop that caps the three-day wave.
Thirty new ocean species
30 new ocean fish species expand the offshore catalog. Combined with v1.045’s fishing UI, this is the patch that turns the pier into a long-term collection goal — not a one-afternoon minigame. Update your farm journal and cross-reference rare catches in Farming and Fishing.
Shop hours and localization
A sign outside Yan Ruyu’s shop now shows open and close hours, so you can plan supply runs without trial-and-error knocking.
Localization fixes address mismatched UI strings reported across languages after launch.
Exploit and NPC fixes
The fishing bobber duplication exploit is patched — duplicated bobbers could inflate catch rates or clutter the water in unintended ways.
Giving a drink to one NPC incorrectly increased drink count for other NPCs is fixed. Relationship and gift tracking should now attribute each beverage to the character you actually served.
How this wave fits after v1.036–1.038
| Build | Date | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| v1.040 | Jul 28, 2026 | Night quest, shelves, Best Seller bonus, delivery reload bugs, co-op tray sync |
| v1.045 | Jul 29, 2026 | Roasted Milk Tea UI, fishing animations, Yogurt Machine, farm QoL, co-op fruit pickup |
| v1.046 | Jul 30, 2026 | 30 ocean fish, Yan Ruyu hours sign, bobber exploit, NPC drink count fix |
| v1.036–1.038 | Jul 27, 2026 | Year-round oranges, Esc reset, price cap — see v1.036 patch page |
After updating, run a short checklist: confirm a Best Seller price shows the 20% bump, buy one Night Recipe, place a hoe on the farm, purchase the Yogurt Machine from Su Kele if you run yogurt menus, and complete one delivery without leaving bags on the counter overnight.
